Dick Klosterman


 

Dr. Richard Klosterman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University.  He is also an Emeritus Professor of Geography, Planning and Urban Studies from the University of Akron.  His research interests include planning theory, planning methods, and computer applications in planning.  He is the developer of the What if? planning support system and the author of Community Analysis and Planning Techniques, a widely used planning methods textbook.
